1.1  This AIP Supplement is issued to notify all operators regarding a restriction of flying training school aircraft operations at Penang International Airport (WMKP) due to the ongoing airport expansion works.

2.1  From 5th December 2025 to 1600 UTC on 31st December 2028, the following operations by flying school aircraft are not permitted at WMKP:

1. Landing

2. Take off

3. Touch-and-Go

4. Circuit training

3.1  This restriction is required due to airport expansion works, which result in partial closure of manoeuvring areas, reduced runway/apron availability and operational constraints during the construction period.

4.1  WMKP aerodrome and associated circuit patterns.

5.1  This restriction applies to all flying training organisations (FTO), private pilot training activities,
ab-initio training aircraft and circuit operations.

7.1  This AIP Supplement supersedes NOTAM A5431/25 and will remain in force until the works are complete on 31st December 2028 (1600 UTC). Any updates, changes and cancellation of this AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM
