1.1  The aircraft parking arrangement at Limbang Airport will be improved. The works include the extension of the existing parking apron and the construction of a new helicopter parking area.

2.1  This AIP Supplement informs the aviation industry of the closure of Parking Bay 3 which will take place from 22nd January 2026 until 30th November 2026 EST.

2.2  APPENDIX 1: Aircraft Parking / Docking Chart - ICAO

3.1  This work area starts from the edge of the current parking apron, next to Parking Bay 3.

3.2  The work carried out involve the provision of an additional paved area of approximately 900 square metres to the current parking apron.

3.3  This work area starts from the edge of the current parking apron, next to Parking Bay 1.

3.4  Section A of this work area starts 10 meters from the edge of the current parking apron. Section A contains the construction of a paved helicopter parking stand and the initial part of a helicopter ground taxiway.

3.5  Section B of this work area runs from the edge of the current parking apron to the beginning of Section A. Section B contains the construction of part of the helicopter ground taxiway that connects to the current parking apron.

4.1  The demarcation line separating the work area and the part of the parking apron that is available for aircraft use is placed approximately 3 meters into the current parking apron operating area.

4.2  This demarcation line affects the minimum clearance for DHC6 in Parking Bay 3.

4.3  The demarcation line that separates work area of Section A and Section B is placed approximately 10 meters from the edge of the current parking apron.

4.4  This demarcation line does not affect the minimum clearance for aircraft in Parking Bay 1.

5.1  Construction work in the Apron Extension Area will be carried out during Limbang Airport’s operating hours and non-operational hours.

5.2  The work affects the minimum clearance for DHC6 in Parking Bay 3.

5.3  Parking Bay 3 will be temporarily closed to all aircraft throughout the construction work.

5.4  Construction work at Section A of the New Helicopter Parking Area will be carried out during Limbang Airport’s operational hours and non-operational hours. Work at Section B is restricted to non-operational hours only.

5.5  The works in the New Helicopter Parking Area do not affect the minimum clearance for aircraft in Parking Bay 1.

5.6  Parking Bay 1 and 2 will remain available to aircraft throughout the construction work.

6.1  During the construction period, pilots are advised to be cautious of open excavation, workers, construction materials, and equipment when in the apron area.
