WMAP AD 2.20 LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

2.20.1 LOCAL FLYING RESTRICTIONS

2.20.1.1 Circuit Pattern

RWY 23 Right Hand circuit.
RWY 05 Left Hand circuit.

2.20.1.2 Outbound and inbound procedures

Traffic proceeding to the training area (outbound) shall leave the circuit at 1000 ft.
Traffic from the training area (inbound) are to maintain 1500 ft and track via the established routes and reporting points.

2.20.1.3 Departures and arrival procedures

2.20.1.3.1 Departures and arrival procedures specified MATS Part 6 and ICAO DOC 4444 Part 4 apply at Pasukan Udara Tentera Darat (PUTD) Kluang:

Departure – visual.
All departure to the training area shall be Visual Departure unless otherwise stated.
Arrival – visual.
Normal Rejoin. The standard circuit joining procedure is as follows:
1. Aircraft will position overhead the aerodrome at 2,500 ft subject to remaining in VMC;
2. Route to the non-active side and thereafter descend to circuit height when cleared;
3. Cross the upwind end of the runway-in-use at circuit height; and
4. Position accordingly into the traffic pattern at downwind.
