Originators are reminded that:

  1. Information concerning circumstances listed in Clauses 6-2-1, 6-2-6 and 6-2-7, Civil Aviation Directive 15 – Aeronautical Information Services (CAD 15 – AIS), shall be distributed under the regulated system (AIRAC).

  2. Permanent changes to the AIP shall be published as AIP Amendments. Temporary changes of long duration (three months or longer) and information of short duration, which contains extensive text and/or graphics, shall be published as AIP Supplements.

  3. Material to be issued as part of an aeronautical information product shall be thoroughly checked before it is submitted to the AIS in order to ensure that all necessary information has been included and that it is correct in detail, complete, timely and of required quality.

  4. Originators should endeavour to forward raw data to the AIS as early as possible and not wait until the latest date.

Publication of Non – AIRAC Information Publication

  1. The AIP Supplement which contain non-AIRAC information and temporary changes of long duration (more than three months) or changes requiring the issuance of extensive text and/or graphics that affect the contents of the AIP.

  2. The Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) which contains aeronautical information that does not qualify for inclusion into the AIP. It is used to provide information that relates to flight safety, air navigation, technical, administrative or legislative matters.

  3. The latest date for information to reach the AIS and the publication dates are as follows:
