Visual circling prohibited beyond 3 NM from threshold Runway 04 due high terrain (hill elevation 1145 FT) located about 4.8 NM Southwest of the aerodrome.
Cat C & D aircraft prohibited from visual circling Southwest of runway.
ATC SMC shall direct arriving aircraft to the main parking apron and assign the parking stand number. The pilot shall follow VDGS where provided or marshaller as appropriate.
General aviation light aircraft shall park at the flying school light aircraft apron unless directed otherwise by ATC SMC.
Departing IFR flights shall contact ATC SMC to obtain start-up and push back clearance. The pilot-in -command and marshallers shall be responsible for the safety of aircraft with respect to vehicles, persons and obstructions during start-up and pushback.
All aircraft at power-in and power-out parking bays shall taxi at minimum power until clear of the appropriate blast zone.
A flight plan shall be filed for the flight.
ATC clearance shall be obtained from Terengganu TWR.
Any deviation from ATC clearance requires prior permission.
The flight shall be conducted with vertical visual reference to the ground.
Two – way communication shall be established with KualaTerengganu Approach on 123.600 MHZ or 235.320 MHZ prior to entering the Kuala Terengganu CTR.
All VFR flights shall follow the established VFR Routes for entering and exiting the CTR, as shown in Visual Chart as per AIP MALAYSIA, ENR 3.5-31. Any deviation outside these routes requires prior ATC permission.
All arriving aircraft shall hold at the designated VFR Holding area at 1000 feet and await onward ATC clearance for landing.
Aircraft shall track over the water from East of Kuala Terengganu Town to Kg. Chenering vice versa to avoid the Palace Area.
