1.1 The following temporary and permanent changes concerning Subang Aerodrome (WMSA) will take place due to regeneration project Phase 2, Zone 3 works from 01st August 2024 until 01st October 2034 EST. The works will be divided into several stages.
1.2 During Stage 1, new temporary Aircraft Stand Taxilane S5 leading to Sapura Hangar will be established and Taxiway S visual aids will be reconfigured.
1.3 During Stage 1A, Aircraft Parking Bay 17 and Bay 18 will be in operation and Aircraft Parking Bay 19, Bay 20 and Bay 21 will be permanently closed and all visual aids will be removed.
1.4 During Stage 1B, Aircraft Parking Bay 17, Bay 18, Bay 19, Bay 20 and Bay 21 will be permanently closed and all visual aids will be removed.
1.5 During Stage 2, new Aircraft Stand Taxilane S4 and MRO Hangar 4 with a parking apron will be established. Temporary Helicopter Parking Stands will be established and existing Helicopter Parking Stands H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6 will be permanently closed. Helicopter FATO will be in operations.
1.6 During Stage 3, a new MRO Hangar 3 with a parking apron will be established. New Helicopter FATO and Helicopter Parking Stands H1, H2, H3, H4 and H5 will be established. Existing Helicopter FATO will be removed.
1.7 During Stage 4, Taxiway S will be extended and a new Aircraft Stand Taxilane S5 will be established. New MRO Hangar 5 and Hangar 6 with a parking apron will be established.
1.8 Details of the aircraft and helicopter bay closure, establishment of new and temporary taxiway will be mentioned in the remarks referring to publication in AIP.
1.9 New FATO and helicopter stand geographical coordinates (WGS-84) and the dimensions for operation at the helicopter centre will be notified in NOTAM.

2.20.9 Taxiing to and from stands
2.20.9.1 The routes to be used by aircraft when taxiing into, on and out of the apron will be specified by ATC. The issuance of a taxi route by ATC does not relieve the pilot-in-command of the responsibility to maintain separation with other aircrafts in the movement area or to comply with ATC directions intended to regulate aircraft movement.
2.20.9.2 Arrival aircraft to Sapura Hangar shall stop and shutdown engine on Taxiway S before entering Taxi-lane S5 and to be tow-in to the hangar.
2.20.9.3 Departure aircraft from Sapura Hangar shall be towed-out via Taxi-lane S5 to Taxiway S before start-up and taxi-out for departure.
2.20.9.4 Pilots are advised to take note of the precautions on the presence of open excavation, workers, construction material and equipment, particularly when taxiing adjacent to the apron and aircraft stand while works within the cordoned/barricaded area are in progress.

3.1 This AIRAC AIP Supplement will remain in force until the works are complete on 01st October 2034 EST. Any updates, changes and cancellation of this AIRAC AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.
