1.1 The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and The Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) will be participating in the National Day Parade 2023 as part of the Malaysia’s 66th National Day Celebrations that will be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia on the 31st August 2023. Therefore, this AIP Supplement is issued to advice aviation industry on temporary changes to the control airspace and Air Traffic Management in and around the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur TMA from 25 August 2023 at 2345 UTC to 31 August 2023 at 0245 UTC to accommodate the event.
1.2 The objective of these changes is to ensure a safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic before, during and after the aerial flypast and parajump, taking into account the increase in the number of movements and the special handling needed throughout this event.
2.1 The lateral and vertical limits of the aerial flypast and parajump activity are as follow:

2.2 The helicopter operation and parajump activity will take effect from 25 August to 31 August 2023 from 2345UTC– 0055UTC daily. During this period, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA/klia2) operation will remain open.
2.3 KLIA AOR airspace will be closed to all aircraft during the following periods:

2.4 All aircraft movements within the following VFR Route segments will be temporarily suspended throughout the activity period.
VFR Route 1A from Sungai Besar to Tanjung Tuan
VFR Route 2A from Slim River to Seremban
2.5 As many flights are expected to arrive at and depart from KLIA shortly before and after the closure of airspace within Kuala Lumpur TMA, airline operators are advised to plan their flights to arrive or depart well before or after the closure to avoid delays.
2.6 Aircraft operators are advised to take into consideration possibilities delay of arrival into KLIA/klia2 after closure and to plan for sufficient fuel in the event of holding is required.
2.7 Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (WMSA) will remain open during this period. However, all arrival and departure flights from WMSA may expect delay.
3.1 National Slot Coordination Malaysia (NSCM) shall be the slot time coordinating authority for outbound and inbound aircraft into KLIA. All operators shall submit their revise slot to NSCM as soon as possible.
