1  INTRODUCTION

1.1  The purpose of this AIP Supplement is to notify the aviation industry of the introduction of additional ACD frequencies 128.15Mhz.

1.2  This frequency will serve a dedicated function and will support the existing ACD frequency 126.0Mhz in order to provide efficient Air Traffic Control Clearance for flights departing from the Kuala Lumpur International airports.

1.3  The content of this AIP Supplement is basically a reproduction of similar information with corrections of previous publication AIRAC AIP Supplement 16/2021 publication date 08 April 2021 that has been cancelled.

2  OPERATIONAL INFORMATION

2.1  In the early stage, the ACD will only operate with a single frequency 126.0 MHz, while the frequency 128.15MHz will be activated later via trigger NOTAM.

2.2  Prior to the issuance of the activation NOTAM, 126.0Mhz frequency will be used for communication from the ACD to all destinations, ATS Routes and exit waypoints.

2.3  Operating information after activation of the 128.15MHz frequency is as follows:

2.3.1  Refer to APPENDIX 1 for the operational information of ACD (1) frequency 126.0MHz.

2.3.2  Refer to APPENDIX 2 for the operational information of ACD (2) frequency 128.15MHz.

3  IMPLEMENTATION

3.1  This AIP Supplement will become effective at 1800 UTC on 17 June 2021.

4  CANCELLATION

4.1  This AIP Supplement will remain current until the information is published in AIP Malaysia.
