1.1 The purpose of this AIP Supplement is to notify the establishment of new ATS route Y512 and associated amendments within Kuala Lumpur FIR.
1.2 The establishment of ATS Route Y512 will create connectivity between Y514 and ATS routes in South China Sea Corridor (SCSC) from waypoint BEKSO and VPK within Kuala Lumpur FIR.
2.1 See APPENDIX A(1-5) for the new ATS route Y512 and associated amendments details.
2.2 See APPENDIX B for chart showing the new ATS route Y512 and associated amendments details.
3.1 See APPENDIX C(1-3) guidelines for flight planning.
3.2 All existing flight planning procedures not related to the new ATS route Y512 shall remain unchanged.
4.1 Operation on ATS route Y512 shall require operators to have operational approval for RNAV 2.
4.2 These RNAV routes are applicable under the ATS surveillance environment.
4.3 Operators with RNAV 2 operational approval shall insert “/R” in item 10a and “PBN/B1-B6” in item 18 when filing flight plans.
5.1 This AIP Supplement will become effective at 0001UTC on 25 March 2021.
6.1 This AIP Supplement will remain current until the information is published in AIP Malaysia.
